Kindle DX eBook readers are the future of books. Like most ebook readers on the market The Kindle DX looks set to revolutionise the way we read. I must admit that I do love the old paper books nothing makes the act of reading more tactile than having to flip pages-or that crunchy sound of a newspaper being turned over. But when I have the kids with me and I’m rocking the stroller in one hand and trying to flip pages with the other or trying to read a newspaper on the subway-or trying to fit my latest bestseller novel into the diaper bag hoping, that the baby’s bottle won’t leak .It’s times like these that make me wish for a Kindle DX.
Here goes my motivation to my wife- why I need a Kindle DX..erm..I mean 10 reasons why eBook readers are the future of books;
10. CONVENIENCE- Kindle DX is slim and lightweight-I won’t need to walk around with a giant man bag just fit all my books, newspapers and kids stuff for a trip to the park. The Kindle DX is actually thinner than most magazines and alot less messier too-no need to worry about ink staining the baby’s diapers if I keep the magazines in the diaper bag.
9. DURABLE-With The Kindle DX – I won’t have to worry about dogs ears on pages or spilling coffee or the kids tearing the Kindle DX.

THOUGHTFUL- If I am in the middle of a riveting chapter and I hear the baby cry or need to change his diaper then I can just turn on the Text-to-Speech feature on and the Kindle DX – which allows the Kindle DX to read to me while I see to my baby. This is just fantastic! If only I had a Kindle DX-I would’nt miss any of the action or compromise my baby’s comfort.
4. SMART- Kindle DX has its own built in dictionary- if I come across an unfamiliar word -which I don’t know the meaning of,then Kindle DX will give me the definition from its built in dictionary. If I wish to know more about the word then I can use the Kindle DX built in Basic Web Browser to read more on text based sites like google.com or wikipedia.
3. HELPFUL- I could send and receive email on my own Kindle.com email address. It even stores Microsoft Word, PDF, HTML, TXT, RTF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, PRC and MOBI files. Then I will have no excuse for forgetting stuff off the grocery list.
2. FLEXIBLE- The Kindle DX can be rotated to view either portrait or landscape views, which ever suites best. The screen works using ink, just like books and newspapers, but displays the ink particles electronically. And unlike a laptop or smart phone, Kindle DX never gets warm it can be used comfortably.
1.COMPACT- I won’t have to take a newspaper and a novel to the park-I can just take my Kindle DX. Best of all when we go on vacation I never know which book to take I end up taking the most boring-If I had a Kindle DX I could store up to 3500 books!
